    Martini Lounge

Legend has it the famed dry martini was invented in The Knickerbocker’s very own ornate ballroom by bartender Martini de Arrma di Taggia, and our wildly popular bar was at the center of the drink’s growing popularity in the early 1900s.

The Gilded Age may be long gone and the likes of F. Scott Fitzgerald, Enrico Caruso, and various Roosevelts are no longer sipping dry martinis at our bar, but we welcome you to unwind in the Martini Lounge on the fourth floor at Charlie Palmer Steak IV. Indulge in select items from Chef Charlie Palmer’s reimagined steakhouse and for added excitement, order the bespoke table-side Martini Cart and watch the original dry martini recipe made right in front of you. Cheers!
