This cultured coffee shop and café is named for John Jacob “Jakey” Astor VI, son of Knickerbocker Hotel founder John Jacob Astor IV who was born just four months after his father died on the Titanic.

From yogurt parfaits, overnight oats, and a variety of Pain D’Avignon croissants for breakfast to satisfying salads and sandwiches for lunch or to grab on the go in between New York sightseeing, Jake’s is the perfect complement to your stay and a great place to start the day.
